Hello World!

Hey everyone,

Mom and Dad,

I love you and miss you so very much, I got your letters today and they made me so happy to read, and they continue to comfort me. Thank you so much for the care package because my comps like me even more now ;)

Anyhow, a lot has happened in a week and there's no way I can get it all in in this amount of time. but on Thursday I was made district leader over 6 other missionaries whom I love so very much. They are the best district that I could possibly ever have. I Love them all so very much. Although the responsibilities of the district leader overwhelmed me. i didn't sleep that night and ended up receiving a blessing on friday night, which was (no offense dad) the most powerful and beautiful blessing I have ever had. it was so reverent and heartfelt, Elder Meyer was the one that gave me the blessing and he is so in tune with the spirit that I knew that it was from God. Elder Meyer continues to amaze me and I know that if we were companions then we'd be so successful in our service.

My companion's name is Elder Whittier, and he know Scripture Masteries better than anyone of us. He's a great Elder, and he and I work well together. On Sunday we had President Packer come and talk to all of us and he talked about repentance and that "faith is the opposite of Fear." I thought that was such a cool concept. So yeah.

Oh, I just remembered. Dad, when you send letters talk about whatever you want and feel like telling me and whatever is going on there. I'm glad to hear that Grandma is doing well with her pacemaker, i was praying for her throughout the day. I have found out that the spirit is so strong in the MTC and I will miss it. I hope that it will continue in the field.

I miss being home so much. You'll have to tell Todd about the blog, I'm sure that he would enjoy reading and hearing about how iIm doing here in the MTC and in the field. I do miss him and the farm. I pray that planting season goes well for them and that they can have a successful harvest. Surprisingly enough, I have gotten off my caffeine addiction and without any headaches. They do have caffeine-free Mountain Dew and Dr. Pepper that I occasionally get when I need a pick-me-up.

Marianne, I'm glad that you know about the dearelder.com. I got your e-mail the day of and it made me happy to read that and hear from you. You'll have to tell mom and dad about that so they can send me letters and emails whenever they want. and it's free while i'm in the MTC.

And to the rest of the family, i am doing well, and I love all of you. God Bless.
